Welcome to Book Me Braids. By using BookMeBraids.com or booking a braiding service through our platform, you agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. About Book Me Braids

Book Me Braids connects clients with professional braiders who operate as independent contractors.
The braiders listed on our platform set their own pricing, hours, service styles, and locations.
Book Me Braids does not employ braiders and does not control how they perform their work.

We provide the platform, scheduling tools, vetting process, and customer support to make the experience smooth and reliable.

2. Creating an Account

To use our services, clients must:

  • Create an account with accurate information

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Agree to receive appointment notifications and confirmations

  • Keep login details private

You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.

3. Booking a Service

When booking a service, you agree to:

  • Select a style, date, and time that fits your schedule

  • Confirm your availability at the chosen location

  • Provide accurate contact information

  • Ensure your hair is clean, detangled, and ready for the appointment

  • Respect the braider’s time and workspace

You will receive an email or text confirmation once the booking is complete.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely through our trusted payment partners.
By booking, you agree to:

  • Pay the full amount listed at checkout

  • Allow Book Me Braids to charge your card for the agreed service

  • Accept that some services require a non-refundable deposit

  • Understand that pricing is set by each braider, not by Book Me Braids

Book Me Braids does not store your full payment information.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Client Cancellations

Clients may cancel or reschedule depending on the braider’s policy.
Braiders may offer:

  • Free cancellation within a specific time window

  • Partial or full charge for late cancellations or no-shows

  • Deposit forfeiture

Please review the braider’s individual cancellation policy displayed on their profile.

Braider Cancellations

If a braider cancels:

  • You will be notified immediately

  • You may choose to reschedule or receive a refund

  • Book Me Braids will assist in finding an alternative braider if requested

6. Independent Contractor Disclaimer

All braiders on Book Me Braids are independent operators.
This means:

  • They are responsible for the quality of their work

  • They determine their own schedule

  • They provide their own tools, supplies, and workspace

  • They are not employees of Book Me Braids

Book Me Braids is not liable for services performed by braiders.

However, we take client satisfaction seriously and will assist in resolving any concerns professionally.

7. Safety and Conduct

Clients must agree to:

  • Treat braiders with respect

  • Provide a safe, clean, and appropriate environment if the appointment is at your home

  • Avoid discriminatory or abusive behavior

Book Me Braids reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for inappropriate conduct.

8. Satisfaction and Service Issues

If you have a concern with your service:

  • Contact the braider directly through the platform

  • Submit a support request if the issue is unresolved

  • Provide photos when needed so we can assist

We work hard to ensure all braiders deliver high-quality results and maintain professional standards.

9. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued only in cases where:

  • The braider did not show up

  • A service was not provided

  • A duplicate charge occurred

  • The braider violated platform standards

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Deposits are generally non-refundable unless the braider cancels the appointment.

10. User Content

If you upload photos, reviews, or messages:

  • You grant Book Me Braids permission to display them on the platform

  • You agree not to post harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content

  • You confirm any images you upload are your own or you have permission to use them

11. Platform Availability

We aim for 24-hour uptime, but there may be occasional interruptions for:

  • Maintenance

  • Updates

  • Security improvements

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

12. Limitation of Liability

Book Me Braids is not responsible for:

  • The quality of services provided by braiders

  • Damages resulting from a braider’s work

  • Personal injury that occurs at your location or the braider’s location

  • Lost property or accidents unrelated to the platform

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

13. Changes to Terms

Book Me Braids may update these terms as needed.
We encourage you to review them regularly. Updates take effect immediately when posted.
