All braiders operate as independent contractors, not employees of Book Me Braids.
Payment processing, scheduling, and cancellations are managed through the platform to ensure fairness and clarity for both clients and braiders.

2. Client Cancellations
A. Cancellations More Than 24 Hours Before Appointment

Clients may cancel or reschedule free of charge

Any deposit paid will be refunded to the original payment method

Refunds typically process within 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider

B. Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Appointment

Deposits are non-refundable

This protects braiders for reserved time and lost booking opportunities
C. No-Shows

If a client does not arrive and does not notify the braider, the booking is considered a no-show

No refunds will be issued for no-shows

3. Braider Cancellations
If a braider cancels an appointment:

The client will receive a full refund, including any deposit

Clients may also choose to reschedule with another available braider

Book Me Braids may review repeated cancellations for quality and reliability standards

4. Late Arrivals

If a client arrives late, the braider may shorten the service or cancel the appointment

Excessive delays may qualify the client for a partial or full refund at the platform’s discretion

5. Service Quality Concerns
If a client is dissatisfied due to:

Behavior inconsistent with professional standards
The client must:

Report the issue within 24 hours of the appointment

Provide photos or details when requested
Book Me Braids will review the case and may offer:

Partial refund

Credit toward a future booking

Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated case by case.
