1. What Book Me Braids Is

Book Me Braids is an online platform that connects clients with independent braiders.
We do not employ braiders. Each braider operates their own small business and sets their own pricing, schedule, and service approach.

Book Me Braids provides:

The website
Booking tools
Payment processing
Braider vetting
Customer support

The braider provides:

The actual hair braiding service
Their own workspace
Their availability
Their professional conduct

2. Booking Appointments

When you book, you agree to:

Provide accurate information
Choose a suitable time and location
Be ready at the scheduled time
Notify the braider or support team if changes are needed

You will receive confirmation as soon as the braider accepts your booking.

3. Payments

Payments are made securely through our payment partners.
A booking may require:

A deposit
A full prepayment
A confirmation before the appointment begins

Prices are set by the braider. Book Me Braids may charge a small platform fee to support customer service, technology, and security.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on:

How early you cancel
Whether the braider has already prepared or traveled
The braider’s individual policy

Certain situations may not be refundable, such as no-shows or late cancellations.
We encourage clients to cancel or reschedule early.

If there is a dispute, Book Me Braids may step in to review the case and offer a fair resolution.

5. Service Quality and Responsibility

Braiders are responsible for the quality of their work.
If you are unhappy with your experience:

Contact the braider directly, or
Contact Book Me Braids support

We may step in to mediate when needed.

Book Me Braids is not liable for:

Damages caused by the braider
Injury resulting from the service
Allergic reactions or sensitivity to products
Personal disagreements or conflicts with the braider

However, we take safety seriously and will remove braiders who violate our standards.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

Treat braiders with respect
Maintain a clean, safe environment
Not request illegal or inappropriate services
Not harass, abuse, threaten, or disrespect braiders

Failure to follow these standards may result in account suspension.

7. Safety and Vetting

Every braider on the platform goes through a vetting process that may include:

Identity verification
Skill checks
Workspace review
Background or reputation screenings

This process helps maintain quality and safety but is not a guarantee of perfection.

8. Use of Client Photos

If you upload photos or share before-and-after images:

You confirm you own the rights to the photos
You give Book Me Braids permission to use them for marketing unless you request removal

You may opt out at any time.

9. Account Termination

Book Me Braids may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate the terms
You mistreat braiders
You submit fraudulent bookings
You abuse the platform

You may delete your account anytime.

10. Limitation of Liability

Book Me Braids is not responsible for:

Loss, theft, or damage of personal items
Results of the service performed by braiders
Scheduling conflicts
Travel delays
Additional costs incurred by the client

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our platform grows.
